Mr. Lemme guided Lemme Engineering Inc. as President and qualifying engineer from 1978 until passing in 2017. He established the firm in 1978 and had many subdivisions, commercial developments, roads, sewer projects, and hundreds of mapping projects. Mr. Lemme's professional career had been in both the private sector and governmental practice. He was a civil engineer for the City of Los Angeles for five years. He was a consulting civil engineer for a private engineering firm for six years in California, during which, he was responsible for the initial master planning of the water and sewer system for Bear Valley Springs, a 24,000-acre project located in Kern County, California. Mr. Lemme returned to Arizona in October 1972 and was Vice President of VTN Engineering Co., and then worked for the City of Phoenix from 1974 to 1978, as the Assistant to the Water and Sewer Engineering Superintendent for the City of Phoenix, being responsible for all engineering required for water and sewer construction in the City of Phoenix.
